You understand the importance of skin health and the effect moisture plays in maintaining this.
Nevertheless, lifestyle and nature both work to wear the skin down and diminish hydration from our bodies. What can help is an injectable treatment which hydrates and rejuvenates the skin from within. Unlike topical solutions, providing this in an injectable form allows you to distribute the product where it is needed across multiple layers of the skin, providing a tailored approach to every patient.
BELOTERO Revive is the newest addition to the BELOTERO collection of fillers indicated for revitalisation of early-onset photodamaged facial skin.1
The injectable, resorbable hyaluronic acid treats the early signs of photodamage by rehydrating the skin, improving elasticity and firmness, and smoothing superficial fine lines by reducing skin roughness.2
BELOTERO Revive utilises BELOTERO’s patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix® technology, allowing for homogeneous dermal integration, and includes the addition of 17.5mg/ml of glycerol.1,3
Hydration is a key feature of a healthy skin and has been widely proven to rejuvenate the skin when injected, giving the skin a more radiant, youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid is important for cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and migration of fibroblasts which causes an increased biosynthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix (ECM).4
Both found endogenously in the body, Hyaluronic acid in combination with Glycerol, one of the most hydrating substances in the polyalcohol family, creates a lasting moisturising effect on the skin, and promotes water absorption from the dermis to the stratum corneum – providing moisture from the inside out.5 Studies have also shown glycerol to enhance the potency of hyaluronic acid by strengthening the hyaluronic acid matrix.6
Combining these two ingredients provides BELOTERO Revive with 37.5mg/ml of hydrophilic molecules.1
