Why should I attend a webinar?

There are countless benefits to attending at least one of our webinars. Whether it’s Business, Clinical or related to a specific product. Our workshops are tailored towards helping you progress in your field. You’ll build confidence in clinical skills, be the first to hear about new research and techniques, and discover ways to upskill your entire team.

What’s more, our webinars are available wherever you have an internet connection. We know you lead an incredibly busy life so we’ve made our resources as accessible as possible with live, replay and a selection of on demand content.

What can I expect from your speakers?

Our speakers come from all kinds of specialisms within medical aesthetics and business strategy. They have years of experience in their specialities and with their teachings, you can acquire new tips and techniques to also relay back to your team. You may even be inspired to challenge their thinking using our chat function.

Our speakers provide advanced education with real scientific insight. With our expert-led webinars, you have access to invaluable resources to help set you apart from others in your industry.

Are the webinars CPD approved?

Most of our LIVE and REPLAY webinars receive the full backing and support of the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification Service. You will receive one certificate of attendance even if you choose to attend multiple webinars. Unfortunately, our ON DEMAND webinars will not be CPD accredited.

How will I receive my CPD certificate?

Your CPD certificate will be emailed to you within 2 weeks after you attend a webinar. Please ensure that your personal details and email address are up to date in the ‘dashboard’ area, as these are the details we will use to complete your certificate

What are the benefits of a CPD accreditation?

Not only does having a CPD accreditation demonstrate you’ve reached the required Continuing Professional Development benchmark (a standard that is regularly reviewed by a panel of industry-specific experts), it also shows that you’re committed to learning and development. It’s not simply a badge for your website or business card, it proves that you’re qualified to help individuals reach their full potential.

I don't know who my Merz account manager is. How do I get in touch?

To get in touch with your local account manager, please email our events team on ukevents@merz.com with your full name, profession and clinic address and we’ll put you in touch.

Where can I find more education like this?

You’ll be glad to hear we have plenty more educational resources. If you haven’t already created an account then we recommend you do so. You’ll get access to all of our on-demand education. If you’re a healthcare practitioner and would like to access further clinical education, you can do so on ukevents@merz.com.

I would like to order some marketing materials. How do I do this?

You’ve come to the right place! We have a vast selection of marketing materials available to order on customerservices@merz.com.

How do I contact customer support?

Will you send me the presentation after the webinar?

As you can imagine, it is in our best interest to protect the content that our speakers produce. Therefore we choose not to send out copies of the presentations that are shown during our webinars. But if you would like to view the webinar content again, most of the sessions will be replayed at a later date – so look out for your favourite sessions.

How can I unsubscribe to your mailing list?

If you’d no longer like to hear from us, simply click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of one of our emails and you’ll be able to unsubscribe from there.

How can I stay up to date on all upcoming webinars?

We regularly update each of our dedicated webinar pages with upcoming webinars and events, so you can stay updated by visiting whichever area you’re interested in. The best way to stay updated, however, is check your subscription settings to ensure you are signed up to our mailing list which you can do here.

Are the webinars free to attend?

You’ll be pleased to know that our webinars are completely free to attend. The potential value of our expert-led courses mean that you can offer your patients a service of the highest quality with minimal cost to you. 

Do I need to create an account to attend one of your webinars?

Yes, you will need to create an account. Fortunately, we’ve made the process easier than ever. Simply follow the registration instructions on the webinar page in question and we’ll email you with all the information you need. 

I’d like to close my account, what should I do?

We have a vast range of webinars and resources to suit various disciplines and treatments. However, if you’re certain that we can’t keep you then please contact ukevents@merz.com with your full name and the email address you used to register and we’ll take you through the process. 

How do I register to attend a webinar?

If you’ve seen a certain webinar that’s caught your eye and you would like to attend, simply visit the webinar page and go through the registration process using the on-page form. From there, we’ll email you with your registration details as well as the details of your chosen webinar. Your webinar will be right there on your dashboard, too. It’s that easy! Please note that only registered Healthcare Practitioners can register for the Clinical Education series.

I’ve forgotten my password, what should I do?

Simply enter the email address you used to register into our ‘forgotten my password’ section and we’ll send you an email where you can reset your password. 

How can I ask the speaker questions during the webinar?

During our LIVE webinars, you will have the opportunity to ask our speakers questions using the Q&A function.

What device should I use to access a webinar?

You’ll be pleased to know that you can access our webinars on all devices, whether that be laptop, desktop, tablet or phone. For optimal viewing, we do recommend a larger screen but we understand that’s not always possible when you’re busy and convenience is important.

I can’t make one of the webinars, how can I see the content?

We understand that you have a busy working life, with lots of demands. So to ensure you can access as many of our educational events as possible, we have introduced a new way to join our events: 

LIVE - you can join our LIVE events, where you will have the opportunity to ask our key speakers your burning questions. 

REPLAY - Most of our live sessions will be repeated at a later date. So if you missed the live session, you can still catch up with the event. 

ON DEMAND - Once registered, you will gain exclusive access to our ON DEMAND area. Here you will find a series of educational content that you can pause, skip or rewind to your heart’s content.

Will my camera be on when I attend the webinar?

Unless specified, all of our webinars are in presentation mode. This means that your camera will not be visible and the presenter cannot see you. 

How do I attend a webinar?

If you’ve seen a webinar that you’re interested in, simply sign up to attend on the dedicated page and we’ll send you the information you need to attend. We’ll provide you with a link which, when clicked on at the scheduled time of the webinar, will take you to the media player. Your webinar will also be available to play on your dashboard.
